I'm sure you're probably tired of me posting the same project over and over, so I promise that this will be the last photo until I get the top together and final borders on. This is just over half the quilt - three more rows of blocks still need to be attached. The black sashing really frames the blocks nicely, but it's slow going since I haven't had much time at my machine this week. Hopefully this weekend I'll get in some quality sewing time.
Not tired at all! I enjoy seeing the progress. The sashing really makes those gorgeous fabrics pop. It's delightful!
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see a picture of your progress with this quilt, I like it more and more and more. The colors, the way you have combined them, the sweet black sashing---it really does look like a quilty modern version of crocheted granny squares. It is unusual and interesting and extremely pretty!
ReplyDeletethat sashing is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI'll never tire of seeing your progress on this quilt. It's a great use of the fabric. Very, very pretty!
ReplyDeleteWell, this is the first time I've seen your project and your site and I have to say they are both awesome! I had a project that I was working on forever and that was the only thing I kept showing, so I know exactly how you feel, LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteLisa, fabulous! Where did you find this pattern? Maybe I'll read back a bit, again, and see if you mentioned it. This came out so perfectly!!
ReplyDeleteHow could we get tired of this one? This is wonderful. I want to make one too!
ReplyDeleteI love this project! It's old fashioned and modern at the same time. It really does evoke a crocheted afghan. Can't wait to see the finished quilt!
ReplyDeleteI am loving seeing your progress on this quilt! It is one of my favorites. I know I am going to regret not buying that fabric line.... What were we just talking about?
