Here's the kids right before I took them out trick or treating. You can't see the fake blood that circulated through the chest plate of the boys' costumes, but they thought that was pretty cool. What a mess - when the bottle of "fun blood" was opened, it stained my hands a nice, indelible red. The costumes are in the garage and I will make sure they don't get anywhere near my carpets or (horrors!) my quilts!
It wasn't too cold and it didn't rain, so we had a nice walk around the neighborhood.
How adorable. You can paint Owen up to look like a ghoul, but you can't take the sweetie pie factor out of him. Look at that face. Eric is trying to look fierce and scary--there is quite a lot of intensity in his gaze! And our Lily looks like she was meant to be a princess. Great picture of your fabulous children!
ReplyDeleteThey do look quite scary!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a cool mom. I won't let ds get a costume that has fake blood because it's so gross. Now I have another excuse. Too messy! lol =) Looks like the kids had a great time. =)
ReplyDeleteAren't they adorable! Well, the boys scared me to death (LOL), but Lily is just the sweetest! I'm glad a good time was had by all!
ReplyDeleteThey look so cute. I am sure they were super excited about their costumes. I wish there was some way we could have a red that didn't stain everything in its path! I can remember several horrors from my kids and red dye when they were young. And, purple grape juice all over the off white carpet in the living room. Some of my greay hair came from that one.
