My second Jelly Star didn't go together quite as nicely as the first one. The points match pretty well, but the seams in the corners of the background squares are a little off. Still, I really like the colors on this one. I may redo it when I get another jelly roll, or if the third star proves it's impossible to make these stars "perfect," I may just go with them as is. Stay tuned, I'm working on Star #3.
That is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteOooooo, I love this fabric line! But, I think that I will choose a different pattern to make from it. :) I'll leave the difficult stars for you. *S*
ReplyDeleteI do like this pattern. I can't tell how large this is? Has Fig Tree released it yet? You are doing a great job; don't sweat the small stuff on it, I think it will come out in the wash.
ReplyDeleteLooks good to me.
ReplyDeleteHugs Mary.
It looks really good to me. I can't even see where the seams are off from the picture. I might have to try this pattern!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour jelly stars are beautiful, Lisa.

ReplyDeleteI am avidly watching and waiting to see your progress on the Jelly Roll Stars... I have the pattern and the jelly roll, but now I am hesitant. I did enjoy doing the Jelly Roll Diamonds pattern by FTQ/but I agree with you about the pinked edges of the 2 1/2" strips.
ReplyDeleteLooks great from here. I'd definitely call it a keeper *s*
ReplyDeleteLisa, this is fantastic. Gosh, you are really amazing! Someday I hope to be at your and mom's level, but for now... I have a lot more sewign to do!!
ReplyDeleteI missed this star at first! Oooooh my, it is beautiful too! You do such lovely work, Lisa!
