I love a Parade!

Parade Let me introduce my latest project - I'm making the Paisley Parade quilt designed by Laurie Simpson that was on the cover of Quilt Sampler magazine last year.  Look here to see what the finished quilt will look like.  I absolutely adore the Prairie Paisley fabrics, and am already planning a second quilt with my leftovers.

I've never made a medallion-style quilt before and I am really enjoying this one.

  1. Hey Lisa, I'm loving it, probably because I have the stuff to make this too! Between you and Nicole, I keep inspired. Can't wait to see your leftover project. Nancy in WI

  5. Right on! Dig Paisley. Too bad I'm completely cut off from my usual thiefing. Ruins my whole shtick.

  7. Oh my goodness...I just clicked over and looked at the finished quilt. It is magnificent. Absolutely beautiful fabrics. Why have I not seen this before I wonder? Maybe because I just started quilting in March of 2008 and never picked up a quilt magazine until my sister in law showed me her stacks of them in July or August of last year. Never the less, if I hadn't spent my quilt budget for a bit, in a wonderful shop in Arizona I would be hot after this quilt kit. I having a bad time not going after it anyway, LOL. Oh dear, if it is still on my mind in the morning I might be in trouble...hmmmm? Good luck to both you and Nicole. I can't wait to watch your progress (both of you) in the future weeks...er, I forgot this is Lisa and Nicole I'm talking about. Let me amend that progress report to 'days'. ***wink***
