"Your mission, should you choose to accept it......" I offered to make the shop sample for the new Moda U kit out of Fig Tree's new Allspice Tapestry fabrics. What a nice job perk - all these beautiful fabrics for free?! And I really like the pattern, too, it will be interesting to put together. I've already started cutting and hope to get this top assembled before we get our Allspice bolts in the shop (the race is on!!). After it hangs in the shop for a while, it gets to come home with me - how cool is that?
A favorite line of mine but can't settle on a project. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGreat deal!
I love that fabric line!
ReplyDeleteI am soooooooo looking forward to seeing this quilt top as it's coming together - I adore that fabric line!! Now get to work, missy!! LOLOL!!
ReplyDeleteI love those fabrics....can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteThe fabric is beautiful but that rotary cutter is amazing!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that a yummy selection of fabrics, all ready to be cut? That is my favorite moment in quilting--kinda like the moment before the guests arrive before the party! Everything set to go, and in perfect order. Now that I have my amazing rotary cutter that you gave me, they are starting to appear in shops in my area. I nearly started a riot when I turned up at my quilt group on Wednesday with mine! All the gals gathered round clamoring to know where I had gotten such a cool device. :-)
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm startin to think you are a figo'
ReplyDeleteholic like me. Love that line too! Problem is, I get these lines and don't want to cut into them!
Does the shop pay to have it top quilted, now that would be a perk! You have such an awesome job. Seriously, I'd buy stock in Fig Tree if I could. And I second what Mom said, I want a pretty roatry cutter too! Gosh that fabric is sooo gorgeous, can't wait to see it all put together. Why Doesn't Moda make yoga pants and sweatshirts that say "Moda University". I'd totally wear them.
ReplyDeleteooooohhh -- those fabrics are absolutely yummy! And you get to play with them and keep them later in exchange for some labor??!!?? WWOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!! As for that rotary cutter -- um, where in the world did you find that lovely thing???
ReplyDeleteThat is a GREAT deal! You must be lucky to have a wonderful shop owner!
