And another start

Allspice "Your mission, should you choose to accept it......"   I offered to make the shop sample for the new Moda U kit out of Fig Tree's new Allspice Tapestry fabrics.  What a nice job perk - all these beautiful fabrics for free?!  And I really like the pattern, too, it will be interesting to put together.  I've already started cutting and hope to get this top assembled before we get our Allspice bolts in the shop (the race is on!!).  After it hangs in the shop for a while, it gets to come home with me - how cool is that?

  5. Isn't that a yummy selection of fabrics, all ready to be cut? That is my favorite moment in quilting--kinda like the moment before the guests arrive before the party! Everything set to go, and in perfect order. Now that I have my amazing rotary cutter that you gave me, they are starting to appear in shops in my area. I nearly started a riot when I turned up at my quilt group on Wednesday with mine! All the gals gathered round clamoring to know where I had gotten such a cool device. :-)

  7. Does the shop pay to have it top quilted, now that would be a perk! You have such an awesome job. Seriously, I'd buy stock in Fig Tree if I could. And I second what Mom said, I want a pretty roatry cutter too! Gosh that fabric is sooo gorgeous, can't wait to see it all put together. Why Doesn't Moda make yoga pants and sweatshirts that say "Moda University". I'd totally wear them.
