Pretending

Img_0085Nicole challenged her blog friends to post pictures of quilts on their beds. Well, I don't happen to have any quilts on my beds, but here is one of my favorites, pretending to reside on my DD's bed because it was the neatest bed in the house at the moment. This quilt is called Cowboy Logic and I made it from cowboy and bandana fabrics I collected for many years before deciding on just the right pattern. I love how this one turned out.

Edited to add: I had a couple questions asking about the pattern and I'm sorry I neglected to name my source. This quilt is the Market Square pattern from Rotary Roundup by Judy Hopkins and Nancy J. Martin.

  1. I love this quilt!!! It is so happy! Can you tell me what pattern this is? I have some red, white and blue that would be super for this pattern. And since I don't have any patterns, lol. I was never able to find a together room when my kids were home.

  6. What a fun quilt! I like the pattern too. I've been thinking of making a similar one. I don't have a quilt on my bed either - just a big fluffy duvet.

  9. That block is so much like one called Corn and Beans that I have always wanted to make. Lots of half square triangles! That is one of my favorite quilts of yours Lisa. Only a quilter would realize what a lot of careful work went into that one! I am glad you kept it in the family!
