On rare occasions, I sometimes *do* make something other than a quilt. Last week I finished this cute ruffled pillowcase for my friend Diane's birthday. The pattern was a freebie that came with Lecien's Flower Sugar fabric. This project did not go smoothly, but the end result and the wonderful hug I got from my friend were priceless!
I love that pillowcase. It such pretty fabric and the ruffles! *swoon*
ReplyDeleteGosh you're a good friend. This is a beauty! I love Lecien fabric. I just don't have any. I would if I could but those darn Civil War fabrics keep jumping in my shopping cart. What is up with that?! Have you ever tried to switch fabric lines all together? It's hard. Not cheap. Oh woe is me. …and if this is the biggest problem I have in my life I'm skatin', ha?
ReplyDeletevery cute! love the ruffle!
ReplyDeleteOh Lisa, what a sweet pillow case. Love the ruffle. A very special gift!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry the project didn't go as planned, but you would never know it by looking at your beautiful finished pillowcase. Great job!! I think the ruffler was worth the $!
ReplyDeleteNice job, Lisa! You do good work.
